That GOOD GOOD Music: Georgia Anne Muldrow & Madlib, Quadron, Theophilus London, and Robert Glasper Experiment's 'Black Radio'
The
ridiculously talented Georgia Anne Muldrow has paired up with my favorite
producer, Madlib, for her latest album entitled Seeds which will be released March 27. If the album sounds anything
like their recently released track “Husfriend”, our ears will be in for a real
treat. Not hip to Miss Muldrow? Listen to my 2 favorite songs by her here & here.
A beautiful video for a beautiful song- enjoy “Day” by
Danish duo Quadron. Not hip to Coco & Robin? Listen to a few of my favorite
songs by them here, here, & here.
Theophilus London & A$AP Rocky announced a couple of
months that they were working on a song together entitled “Big Spender”. I
haven’t been able to hear their version but I must say, I’m in love with Theophilus
London’s take on the song which will be on his upcoming EP Lovers Holiday II: Rose Island. (I believe he recorded this on the radio in Australia so that's why the audio sounds a little rough.)
This album has been on heavy, heavy repeat on my iPod for the past month. The songs are just too
smooth for words. If you love jazz, hip-hop, soul, and R&B, you will
definitely appreciate this. Click here & here to listen to my 2 favorite songs.

YES! I love their version of 'Baby Be Mine' :) It's so beautiful, almost as if it's a totally different song. The original is amazing as well, of course.

ReplyDeleteLove G.A.M! I didn't know she was working on a new album though! That makes me so happy :) And that Theo London tune is good, i love the beat. I'm about to download all these songs.
